I am hoping to get some information on the process of adding shims to help align the doors on my sedan. How to insert the shims, where, how many. Are there shims out there that I can use or should I make them. I did find the link below which has great info but looking to get some details on how to actually add the shims step by step. I have most reference materials as well but so far haven’t found the details on how to add them or the steps. Appreciate any help.

I started to write a step by step process but it got too time consuming to make it complete enough. My advise is to consult with your favorite local older body man to help you with the process. Not too many under 50 years of age know how to shim a body today.
