I am looking for a seat adjuster and tracks for my 31 Special Sedan. Sometime in the past a former owner removed the adjuster and welded the tracks in one spot. This person besides being a hacker was also shorter than me.
Not knowing what it should look like. I have unfortunately twice purchased the wrong adjuster. Once from ebay and once from a member here who though it was correct.
I have now done the research I should have done before:
Cabriolet, Coupes and four door sedans Will work.
This is a Photo of the correct one. Note the long spindle and front wraparound bracket. The photo is from "Strongs Garage" utube channel. Recommended watching!
Clicking the photos will enlarge them.
Correct Part numbers.
Coach, 5 person Coupe, Sedan delivery and Phaeton Will Not work They look like this:
If you need this one let me Know!
Thanks, Carl
Hopefully someone will be able to help you out. I'd recommend you place a parts wanted ad in that section of the Classifieds. The Classifieds button is at the top of the page.

I have a 1930 coupe with the same adjuster. I have the adjuster knob and screw thread but the "nut" (female bracket/receiver) is missing. The previous owner had jammed the seat all the way back with a 2x4 to hold it in position.
I was told that these are ACME (machine travel screws) threads and I tried to order a couple of the right size without success. I had the right diameter but none would traverse the screw freely - the thread shape is different even though the thread count/ inch and diameter was correct. Don't waste your time with the modern machine travel threads...the old ones seem to be custom.
I have found that finding the right one for my coupe impossible so far. That said, the screw threads from the "wrong" coach, etc. is the same thread size. I bought a used one and modified it to fit and accept the screw, tacking it in place to the bracket. If I ever find one of the right receivers, I will remove my non-stock receiver and replace it. But, until that day comes, I can at least adjust the seat.
It probably doesn't help much to know you aren't alone...but it may be an interim solution.
