Lighting system in my 1929

Time to start on the electrical system.

The lighting switch on the dash has 3 positions. Can I assume turned to the left is off?

What are the next 2 positions?

My car has a dome light. How is it controlled?

The wiring in this car is in bad shape so I will be replacing it all. Before I put any power to it I'd like to understand how it should work.

It's been a quite a while since I've be in my '29, but I think the dome light switch was on the body post between the front and back doors.

This wiring diagram should help you figure things out:
