I first fell in love with the '31/'32 Landau Phaeton by reading George Dammann's book 'Sixty Years of Chevrolet' back in the early 1980's. I was about 8 or 9 at the time. The picture on page 93, "Queen of the Shows" looked stunning, and the car below it with the steel spare tire covers was even prettier! The first one I saw in person was a '31 that was in the car corral at Dunkirk NY in 1985. Unbeknownst to me, it was purchased that day by Mr. Jack Look of Caledon Ontario Canada. Later, it was sold to Mr. Blenus Wright, a former VCCA member.
Kevin is a fine name. When my wife was pregnant for our second child and our daughter was four years old she had an imaginary friend she called Kevin. Two weeks before our son was born my wife asked our daughter why she was no longer playing with Kevin. She replied he moved out. When we brought him home we let her know Kevin was moving back in!!

Bruce, congratulations on the acquisition. Preservation is the priority in my opinion. Those survivors get more attention than concourse restorations when displayed. Their story is more obvious to lookers who want to take it all in.
