I am working on the rumble seat door on my 31sport coupe and have a question on the door handle escutcheon. Is there a rubber or other type of washer that is inside the escutcheon? I have taken the door handle out and there is something there. I would like to know if anyone knows what it might be before I dig it out. Any help would be appreciated.
Yes there is a black rubber washer in the escutcheon. Replacements can be found listed as handle grommet part no. C-111 and 70-9 at the Filling Station (top of the page advertiser on this Forum).
