Hello All,

It seems that I'm driving into the future with my antique car. I must admit that I still don't know how to attach photos to the discussions, but maybe I'll learn. Speaking of learning, I'm testing the new forum to see how it works. If you look at it, 31 changed into 32 and so on. So, I guess it's the same with VCCA. Edit: I was previously known as: Harrys31Coach. Cheers

Edit: I could not see this post after I logged out, but I can see it if I log in. I'm thinking that no-one but a member can read forum posts. In a union, that's called a closed shop.

Hi Harry

I've had some similar glitchy things happen as well.

I usually go straight to "Recent Posts" so I can see everything new in one place.

When I click on a thread and scroll down for the latest posts, sometimes they aren't there!

But when I use the refresh on Firefox, the newest posts suddenly appear.

And yes, sometimes they are my own posts.

Once I used "Edit" to add to a post, but when I went to add the edit, it just disappeared, along with the "Edit" icon.

Anyway, glad to see you made it here, and I'm sure things will all settle out with a little time.

The forum is in great hands.   🙂  👍

Hello Tiny,

Good to know that I'm not all alone here. I do however think that somehow folks are not afforded any new insight or helpful information regarding vehicles, unless they are or become members seeking help. Say a barn find or family member becomes involved with an old Chevrolet/GMC. To seek information, they can search the old forums/old vendors names/outdated posts, but you won't be able to ask anyones opinions. Why not just advertise upfront that these forums are closed to members only? I do enjoy posting to folks worldwide asking for advise/opinion that I think may be of help. I just don't see how the outsider feels welcome without freedom of information. Will parts and services advertisers miss out on new business, I don't know? Edit: I believe that I don't/didn't realize what Stovblt's post meant about 'Recent Posts'. Call me a gun jumper, I jumped the gun too soon not understanding how the forum functions. My apologies.
