I don't think any metal conduit was used with that type of plug. I usually see only cloth loomed wire used there.
I'm not sure what I am seeing in your other picture.

Looks like the headlight which was used on ~1925-26 K & V series cars. If so, here are some pictures from a 1926 V series for your reference.
The wire that connects to the bulb contact terminal runs through a bakelite spacer which is held in the socket at the back of the headlight by a metal cap with bayonet pins. The wire near the headlight is protected by a small diameter metal conduit.
