I have studied many old black and white photos and it is dark color.

Do you know how hard it is to type on a rough road with sausage fingers?

I thought that the 27 Cabriolet started out with a solid top and the convertible top was introduced mid year...

@andy-somers-2 No, it started out as a canvass top and the next year they made it into a functioning convertible.

FYI, in the November 2013 G&D magazine, there are a series of articles that describe the differences between various models of Chevy cars from 1925 - 1931.

The 1927 passenger car article was written my Bill Bradford, the Technical Advisor for that year's cars.
