@bare-feet I was to be a convertible but the rush caused it not to be even though the name implies it is. It will be in 1928

Do you know how hard it is to type on a rough road with sausage fingers?

@johnny-reb

I thought that the 27 Cabriolet started out with a solid top and the convertible top was introduced mid year...

@andy-somers-2 No, it started out as a canvass top and the next year they made it into a functioning convertible.

FYI, in the November 2013 G&D magazine, there are a series of articles that describe the differences between various models of Chevy cars from 1925 - 1931.

The 1927 passenger car article was written my Bill Bradford, the Technical Advisor for that year's cars.

Since all the G&Ds are digitized, this article is accessible to all VCCA members. Look under the Publications pull-down menu in the banner at the top of every web page.

Cheers, Dean
