I don't have an answer. You activity shows 6 posts and a user is only supposed to need moderation for the first 5. Length of time as a club member has no bearing. Every user on the new site has their first 5 posts subject to moderation. That's how we filter out spammers and you all don't have to read their drivel. Their posts never see the light of day to anyone other than Moderators. Whatever the reason you should be good to go now as this one put you over the required 5.

I thought I read on the old place that everything was going to be carried over to the new and just log in like usual unless I was thinking about another forum

If only that were true! Everything was left behind including many of the long time members. Really disappointing!

Sadly no. The old forum software is incompatible with nearly all modern software and is no longer supported. There are still a small number of forums that use it and one of the original authors of the software still halfheartedly advises them how to fix issues when they arise. That same person advised our BOD that he was not going to continue doing that and that it would be wise to move to new software, the reason the change was made here. Russell is correct in that many of the long time members and old forum users have chosen to not support the new forum. Our webmaster advised the BOD in the last meeting that it's now possible to move the old forum content to the new because software is now available to do that where it wasn't possible before. The BOD is looking for volunteers to help with that (reported in the last G&D).
