Hi i need help finding brake parts for a 51 gmc 250. i can find half ton brake kits all day long online, but cannot seem to find what i need for the 1ton. i need to find wheel cylinders ( found 2 different types online, want to make sure i order the right ones) brake shoes, hardware kit, and drums. I inherited this from my uncle, which does have mismatch years parts on it. any other information on where to buy panels, floor boards etc would be great. thanks! im in montana so any ne knowing where parts trucks are is great too

Welcome to VCCA Chat. Finding parts for the heavier duty trucks can be a challenge. There are a number of truck owners in the club. As soon as they find this thread they'll likely help out. In the mean time I would start by calling The Filling Station (ad at the top of the page) and talking with the good folks there. They many have some leads or even sell the parts themselves. I'd also contact Bowtie Bits. They specialize in truck parts & may be able to help. https://www.bowtiebits.com/
