Members can now dynamically edit their vehicles.

  • Add
  • Edit
  • Delete
  • Add A Description
  • Add Photos

Once you've added them they are not available in the vehicle roster instantly.

Let me know if you have any troubles or comments.

I went exploring the site tonight and attempted to edit my vehicle which showed up but when I clicked on the pencil I got a message in a yellow box "I dont know how to edit this post, I dont have the form ID".

Added my 1941 Master Deluxe and my 1987 Monte Carlo.  No issues.

I see there are very new new posts. Is that because nobody knows how to use it, I can see that?

@jon-tagge Yes it doesn't seem as user friendly as the old site in my opinion.

@timothy-kruger I did successfully edit my vehicles which I previously couldn't get done.

I assume you mean very "few" new posts. So far that's correct. Unfortunately there are a lot of old time members who understandably resent the move and are choosing to not participate. Hopefully they will come around. If not, that's their choice.

I have added my vehicle but was unable to upload a photo. The system said that my photo exceeded the size limitation. I reduced the size and got the same message. What is the size limit?

Thanks!

Nick

FYI, the Attach Files dialog box says max of 50MB. If the max is 5 that should probably be changed.

@p-gariepy

When I go to the "Edit Your Vehicle" area...at the bottom it says, "Featured Image", and "Upload the main image of your Vehicle". (There is no size limit visible.)

Even though I select a photo that is smaller than 2MB, a small window pops up and tells me, " The file you have uploaded exceeds the file size limit. Please try again."

Is it, perhaps, that I am on restriction on the site since I have recently joined?

I am not complaining! I appreciate the effort it takes to operate a site like this and especially during a migration to a new system.

Thanks,

Nick

I'm playing with this new web site.  Parts I love and there are parts I can't figure out.   I agree with some of our members that figuring out anything new is hard for us that are not computer savy.   My first question is and has been asked is how do you start a new thread?   I now know how to post a reply but not a new subject.   Next,  I read every new post to this web site every day.   I like the part that gives you all the new post all in one place.   But I noticed today that I have to read some of the post from the original post to get down to the new ones.   Also the unread section does not include the classified section, why?  And I am only interested in the new posts to the classified.   I liked the birthdays on the old site.

To start a topic click on the section header. For example this is in General Discussion. Once that page loads, on the right is a button Add Topic with the image of a writing quill. Click that and ask away. An Active Topics button would be a real plus. I would also LOVE to have the Classifieds as a part of the main forum like it was. I've mentioned that but don't have any control over it.
