Good day. Looking for opinions and thoughts from you all. I am looking to purchase a professionally rebuilt Carter W 1 (574 model ).  Please share me the good, bad, and the ugly.  I want to make the best informed decision based on others experiences. Thank you !!!

We have a club member who rebuilds W-1s. His name is Dean Echols. He has an ad in the G&D under Services Offered. Option 2 is to message a fellow that goes by the handle carbking on the site. This is his company website: https://www.thecarburetorshop.com/

I'll ask Mr. Echols his price on a rebuild. Thanks. I have looked at the website you mentioned. I am obviously doing something wrong with mine or I just don't know what the heck is going on with it. Yesterday it was leaking UP out the slot on the top of the fuel bowl that the accelerator plunger extends out of. I am not touching it anymore.

I most likely will have Mr. Echols rebuild it. He even runs them on a test engine when he is done !! You can't beat that. Price is really good. Thanks, Tiny.
