Trying to paint the correct parts black on my engine for 1951.

I remember Gene Schneider gave a wonderful reply, some time ago, telling which parts would be black in color.

Im looking for correct color of air cleaner, generator, starter, fan blade, fan pulley and harmonic balancer.

Wanting  the 216 black color items for 1951.

Wow, how did I go from 3,000 plus posts to just 2 posts ????

@bob-gubanc To answer your last question first, nothing carried over from the old site. We're all starting over on post count. What some of us have done is to put our old site post count in our signature. As for the parts painted black, the old site is still archived and searchable. It's just no longer active for posting. A button linked to the old site is in the grey bar just below the Filling Station ad.

Bob,  I am looking at a print out of Gene Schneider's post regarding engine colors.

"The fan, oil filler, generator,  Starter, distributor and transmission were painted black.

The engine parts that are gray were bolted together then the engine was painted.  This means that the attaching bolt heads, edges of gaskets, etc and the acorn nuts holding down the valve cover were Blue/grey."
