BASIC FORUM INSTRUCTIONS:

1. VCCA MEMBERS get FULL access to the forums including the Member's Only forums. You'll need to sign in before you can post to the forum.
2. If you'd like to be a paying member of the VCCA we'd love to have you!  Go to the Join page for instant access.
3. NON MEMBERS are welcome to participate in the VCCA forums, but you will need to register first.

ADVANCED INSTRUCTIONS:

1: Users who are not dues paying club members MUST register before being able to post in the forums. Membership is NOT required to post in the general forums but membership IS required to post in the Members Only forums and the Gallery.

2: ALL USERS must log(sign) in before being able to post. The two links are shown below. If you wish to join the club it's the orange arrow. If you are already registered but not logged in it's the green arrow. If you are not a club member and don't wish to join jump to step 6. IF YOU ARE AN EXISTING CLUB MEMBER AND THIS IS YOUR FIRST VISIT TO THE NEW SITE YOU ARE ALREADY REGISTERED AND ONLY NEED TO RESET YOUR PASSWORD! JUMP TO STEP 9.

3: For those who wish to join, and click the Join link, you'll see the page below. Select the level of membership you desire and click that button. For this post I'm clicking the USA Periodical Mail button.

4: When you make a choice you'll see the page below. Enter your personal information; Name, address, spouse's name, phone numbers, email address, user name, password, etc.. THE PASSWORD YOU SET IS THE PASSWORD FOR THE WHOLE WEB SITE, NOT JUST THE FORUMS. YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS IS YOUR USER ID FOR LOGGING(SIGNING) IN. The image below only shows the top of the page. Scroll down as you enter your information.

5: This is the bottom of the page where you enter your dues payment information. ONCE YOU CLICK JOIN/RENEW YOU ARE A CLUB MEMBER AND HAVE FULL SITE PRIVILEGES.

6: If you are not joining the club but wish to post in the forums click the Sign In button in Step 2 above. You'll see a screen similar to the screen below.

7: Enter a User Name and your email address. A conformation email will be sent to that address. Go to your email and open that message then follow the prompts.

8: You should then see the screen below where you'll enter your email address and set a password. If you don't want to have to log in every visit click the Remember Me button. A conformation email will be sent to the email you list. Open that email message and click on the link in the email. Then return to the forum and click Log In.

9: Existing VCCA members do not need to register. You are already registered. You only need to reset your password. YOU CAN REUSE YOUR OLD PASSWORD BUT NEED TO GO THROUGH THE RESET PROCESS. Click the Lost Your Password link shown below. A box will open asking for your email address. Put your current email address in the email address box. An email will be sent to that address. Go to your email client and open that message. Click the link in the message. When you click the link a window similar to the one below will open. Using your existing email address you'll need to enter any password you wish. I reused my old password so I didn't need to remember a new one. Submit the update, you should have full access to the VCCA website including the forums.

I hope I didn't leave anything out. To emphasize IF YOU ARE ALREADY A CLUB MEMBER YOU DO NOT NEED TO REGISTER! YOU ARE ALREADY REGISTERED. SIMPLY RESET YOUR PASSWORD.
