Thanks Tony. It's amazing how much one gets done once one is retired.

@skidplate I am trying that, I retired 2.5 year ago but the work has only slowed to 50%. I was self employed and as such nearly everyone knows my phone number but that is about to change.

Oh yeah. It might be time for a new number.

Or a new message.

Like maybe "Hello, this is Tony. I've been retired now for a few years but if this is about Cars or Fishing or Pizza this Friday, leave a message. If this is about ????, then I highly recommend ???? or ????... he/she will do a great job and tell them I sent you." BEEEP

Cheers

Easier to change the number, also gets rid of the other nuisance calls for a while too.

Don't count on that. Your new number will most likely be someone else's old number. I keep getting pot shop adds and collections calls. Why can't they ever be Swedish dancing girls calling? 😁

You could well be right but the Swedish dancing girls could be interesting relearning exercise.
