Looking for info on where you guys have gotten your wiring harnesses and also where does the tail light harness run on a 2 door town sedan.
Thanks for any help !
Attached is a picture from the 1946/1947 Fisher Body Manual showing the routing for various body styles. I suspect 1941 would be the same. For period correct harnesses and supplies, I generally use Rhode Island wiring but I’m told YnZ has a great product as well. If I recall correctly, the body harness is wrapped with friction tape rather than woven braiding. Consider adding one extra wire for signal lights.
Thanks, I was afraid that the harness went overhead, I don't want to disturb the headliner.
I may route it under the car instead if I can find a good way to go that way.
I have talked to RI Wiring, they seem to be very knowledgable.
In my 38 the only wire that went over the headliner was the dome light wire. Everything else was under the dash or under the car. Thanks, I was afraid that the harness went overhead, I don't want to disturb the headliner.

The harness in a 1941 convertible body is routed under the front and rear floor covering just inside the sill plate. If you remove the bottom rear seat cushion there should be a way to route it into the trunk area. You’ll have to figure out a way to get hot wire wire up to the dome light and ground wires from the light to the door and pillar switch. Mike
