A couple of years ago I purchased a 35 lb pail of NLGI "Grease" from Walmart.  https://www.walmart.com/ip/EP00-Extreme-Pressure-Multipurpose-Lithium-Grease-NLGI-00-35LB-Pail/643094319?classType=REGULAR&from=/search   It is a flowable grease that is good for our 1930s and earlier Chevrolets. Has additives to retard wear, corrosion, flows enough to use in steering gear and not readily leak as lower viscosity transmission fluids. I shared my purchase with other VCCA members at a much lower cost than other alternatives.
