Had a look inside the valve cover the other day while the motor was running. I actually wanted to check the condition of the cap gasket. I noticed that the oil inside wasn’t “flying around” as it usually should. I pulled the valve cover off and noticed that the oil was barely dripping out of the tubes above the valve train.
Oil pressure seems good. Any ideas why it is not squirting onto the valves as it should? Clog or leak somewhere??
Thanks in advance for any help!!
Full pressure or dip & splash 235?

It is not supposed to "spray oil around!" If you have a tiny drip at the front and rear rockers you are good. You don't want to spray oil as it will flood the valve stems and result in burning oil. There is a tiny hole at the top of each rocker where it pivots on the shaft. That allows a very small amount of oil to run down the shaped rocker arm and drip onto the end of the valve stem and that is all the oil you want. To repeat, if you have even a tiny bit of oil dripping out at the front and rear rocker, you are good.
It’s a full pressure 235 I believe.
