Does anyone have a list of 35 Serial numbers? Or know where I can get one.

@jon-tagge Jon, I think we have talked about his but I have forgotten what your issue is. Call me, maybe I can help. I doubt there is a list of numbers anywhere.

The starting vehicle serial numbers at each assembly plant has been available. I have them for a number of years. The 1935 data attached.

Thanks Chip but I cannot interpret it. Does 5EC0614778 for my 35 Standard built in Kansas City in June of 35 look to be in the right range? It does not have to be in exact range. Or should the number be higher?

5EC06-14778. Built in June, the 13777th car produced in KC. The last car, according to Chip's list is 24823, a total of 23,822 cars built. Your number is right in line.

@jon-tagge @tiny @chip My April built (Kansas City) car is number 16563. I have been doing some math and it is hard to make sense of it if you try divide the number into equal parts. So Jon, you better pick a number higher than mine. Looks like only 9 months of total production time with 1/2 month in Dec 1934 and 1/2 month in September 1935. That's about 2646 units per month. That would put my April car in the 12,000 range, not 16563.

@35mike Master or Standard? Different sets of numbers may be the difference. Is it the original plate (mis-stamped?)? Just guessing. Despite what some say, I wasn't there.... 😀

I apologize for the confusion Jon. I was replying to Mike.

@tiny @jon-tagge I have two 1935 Standard series cars. A coupe which was built in St Louis and a coach (two door sedan) that was built in Kansas City. The info I provided was from the coach. The I.D. tag was missing when I got the car but the car was titled using the 5EC04 16563 manufacturers I.D. number. I made and added the tag. My St Louis built coupe is titled using the engine number but I have the original I.D. tag for it. Jon could use my (April) number as a starting point and compute the number of cars built each month through September (about 1/2 month in Sept) to get a plausible number for his car. By my calculations, his number should be around 19867.

@35mike Wow, that's different from the number I had, thanks Nobody understands why I want a number if it is not the correct one, hard to explain.

@jon-tagge Jon, Perhaps I should revisit the math and hope that someone else will chime in to corroborate my findings.
