Does anyone or company supply the cords that go across the back of the front seats for grabbing on to? I need 2 for a ‘50 convertible.
Thanks,
Matt
If you have the end brackets a good upholstery shop should be able to make the robe rail. I believe it's just fabric covered chain. A google search turned up a lot of bracket listings on ebay. Hopefully someone will be along with more specific information for you.

The 1950 convertible I have owned since the mid 1980’s does not have robe cords. The upholstery in it was original prior to my restoration so Matt’s question got me wondering. According to the 1950 specs on the GM Heritage site, robe cords are cited for De Luxe series two and four door sedans, but not for Sport Coupe’s, Bel Air’s or convertibles.
