I need a RH windshield wiper transmission for '38 with good driver quality chrome. Anybody have one?

Welcome to the new site Doug. Is your transmission missing or broken? If it's missing you can put an ad in the Parts Wanted classified. The link is at the top of the page. You might also call The Filling Station. They often have a stock of used and/or NOS parts not listed in the catalog. Good luck with your search.

@tiny Hi Tiny.  My old one is very rusty and pitted.  I would like to find a better one if possible.  Thanks for your response.

If it's mechanically sound you might consider replating. I had both of mine replated.

Hi Doug,  Have you considered this NOS part on eBay?  There should be no concern about quality on a new TRICO part.

<Ebay Part>

 I think this is the way to go unless you really need the appearance of "driver quality chrome" and a new part wouldn't look right for the car.  Tom

That's a heck of a price. I'd jump on it if it'll work for you.

I doubt it. The part is located in Michigan and Headlighter's profile says he's in New York.

@doug-krassow Doug send me your email address and I will put you in touch with the guy that has been collecting and selling 38 parts for over 60 years.  That is where I have gotten all of my parts!

@tiny I'm in Florida.

Where can you input an address in the forum?

It would be a great feature to display poster's location in the margin next to posts.

@doug-krassow   It's not my part, I just saw it on line.

BTW - We have met.  I have a 1937 Chevy.

My mistake. When I looked at your profile I saw New York. Looking again, that's your time zone, not location. To my knowledge the only way to put your location in your posts would be to include it in your signature. You can edit your signature by clicking the down arrow below your name on the left then the gear icon or click the My Profile/Account button at the top of the page. Sorry for the wrong info, muddying the water.
