1938 Master Sport vs 38 Master?

Only thing I can tell is the Master Sport might have had rear ventilating windows based on the colored brochure I saw but not sure about that either? I keep reading folks mentioning 1938 Master 85 but I thought 85 series applies to 1939 models and maybe later. I’m on a roll with questions, making progress with my 38 so I’m enthusiastic I guess

I've never heard of a Master Sport or a Master 85 in 1938.

@john-schildberg @michael-alvarez @tiny There was a Sport Coupe and a Sport Sedan in the Master Deluxe line-up for 1938. I did not check my other resources to see what set these apart from the other Coupes and Sedans for that year.

Never count on what "people say" about their cars as absolute fact. I have encountered people who have owned their cars for many years who know very little about them. Your Chevrolet Master Parts Catalog is your friend.
