I have an account from the old forum and logged onto the new chat today for the first time. I had to use the forgot password feature, where they give you a password, but it says I do not have enough posts to modify my account and I cannot update my password.

I can't remember for sure how I got around thngs when I first came over.
But, I "think" I had to log in using the "forgot my password" feature multiple times to get things working.

You need 3 or more posts to get the rights to modify your account.
Make 1 or 2 more posts in this thread, and you should be able to modify your account.

Welcome Brandon! As the others said, make a couple more posts and you should be good to go. You'll then be able to modify your account to change your display name, password and more. If you should get to 4-5 posts and are still not able to make changes to your account give Peter @ member services a call. The Mods don't have the ability to change things at that level.
