Old Chevrolet Thermostat

A couple of weeks ago I was digging through a box of rusty parts and found a genuine Chevrolet thermostat. It has bow-tie stamped into it even though it was made by Dole. 

I don't know exact what years this thermostat was used but it looks exactly like the one shown in the 1931 Accessories brochure.

That is very cool.

A thermostat from a Chevy small block V8 will fit most Chevys back to 1928, I think.
