HELP!!!!!!!!!!! I have seen a home made clinching tool made from turnbuckles, you use to collapse the rim then expand it when the tire is on. I know you use a load of talcum powder. Unclench the rims and collapse. Powder, put in the Tube, Powder, put in the Flaps. Maneuver (push, pry, tug) the tire back on to the rim, watching where the valve stem rests and not pinching the tube. Powder, put on the whitewalls. Unclinch the rims, put in the cotter pin and air up the tire. Easy Peazy?????? Did I miss anything or do you have some tricks to share or a bit of wisdom??

Regarding the collapsing/expanding rim tool, I used to use the turnbuckle setup for collapsing the rim, but after reading this article, I realized that I did not need a tool for the collapsing part.
Before I found a hand crank expanding tool at the flea market, I used a small bottle hydraulic jack and some short pieces of 2x4s to expand the rims so I could snap the clasp into place.
