I am looking for 205/70R14 narrow whitewall tires. Looked at Coker tires, none there. Looked various locations. Anyone with info as to where they can be found? They appear to be plentiful in Europe.
eBay....I googled it and many sources came up. What am I missing?
I see the issue. When I Googled it nearly all the returns were 205/75x14. I use the 75 aspect ratio on my 53. Is there a necessity for the 70 or could you use a 75? It would only make maybe a 1-2 MPH difference on your speedometer. If you do buy 205/75 make sure they're not trailer tires. That is a very common trailer tire size that nearly all tire shops stock.

I was able to find the size on TireRack.com. The BFGoodrich had raised white letters but none of them had whitewalls. I know that I had an issue finding raised white letter tires to fit my 87 Monte Carlo a few years back. They where all several dollars more than the identical black wall tire. Tires have gone way up in price.

The 205/70R14 tire is the direct size compared to the 185/75R14 tire. The tire profiles looks exactly alike the only difference is the width. Also has to fit on a 65 nova. Clearance on front fenders is critical.
@1931-roadster You might check with Diamondback tires. I've read they do some custom work but take your heart medicine before you hear the price if they can make you one. A quick look at their site shows they offer wide whites in that size. Give them a call. They brag about shaving tires. Maybe they can shave a wide white to make a narrow?????
