Well ya'll know how easy it is to do a complete brake job on an 84 year-old car. Yes, I will smell like this for weeks. And yes, I did crossthread the brass fitting at the end of my old brake Master Cylinder. Is it a ..........Fitting, Adapter, Inverted Flare to NPT, Straight, Brass, Natural, 3/8 in., 5/16 in. You always have to remove it and put on your new cylinder and I boogered it good putting the old line back in.

@johnny-reb Dick, Do you need a new fitting or were you just posting to let the rest of know that we are not the only ones who pull Bone-Head stunts like this when working on our old cars. If the former, I might be able to help. If the latter, thanks.

@35mike I need to know the size of the original fitting. It is a 5/16" line but I am under of the exact size and thread that goes into the cylinder. I need one.
