Body Repair advice

I’ve had a mishap with my 1951 Chevy Styleline Deluxe 4D, rolled out of my garage after  I removed my chock and thought emergency brake was sufficiently engaged. Driver door was open and it was sprung back and did damage to door, no5 sure about any other internal hinge damage etc. Of course I feel like an idiot, but it could have rolled all the way out into woods if it were not 1951 steel!  Looking for any advice on a body shop that might be able to help me out with repair.  I live about 20 miles west of Baltimore Maryland . Thanks!

Bummer, but I suspect this has happened to a lot of folks! I suggest that you contact one of the VCCA regions (chapters) that are in Maryland for a shop referral.

Here's where all the regions are listed, along with their contact info: https://vcca.org/regions-chapters/

Good luck with your '51!  Dean

Thanks,  I actually will be attending a meeting on the 17 of July with my local chapter, hopefully will get some good suggestions. There still must be competent shops around that can do work on these beauties.

Might have found a shop that can help me, but they are concerned the hinges may be damaged. Do the 1951 Styleline deluxe 2 door and 4 door models use the same hinge assembly?  Am having real trouble locating possible replacements if  need them.
