Just curious what a decent 41 Chevy grill is worth. I came across an ad for one that states is in very nice condition -clean and no dents- the price seems very attractive but I know very little about 41's.

If the price seems to unusually low BEWARE OF A SCAM. Ask some very precise questions and get extra pictures with close detail to hopefully prevent the seller using photos he obtained online.

@chip The sellers location is about 10 miles from me so i could do a visual inspection . I think for the price it would make a great wall hanger at least .

I’m uncertain about car vs truck grill values.  But, a truck grill from that time frame, in the condition shown in those photos would sell for about $1000, minimum.  In recent years, I don’t recall even seeing ones missing pieces, dented and corroded selling for anywhere near the amount advertised.  Buyer beware!

I'd wager that if you posted "I'll buy it, how do I pay" you'd get a reply really fast.

There are quite a few on eBay from $175 and others over 800. I think eBay is fairly scam proof. If you don't get the item as described, eBay will reimburse you. I have bought and sold on eBay nearly 1000 times and never lost a penny.

@jerry-berry I don't have a 41 and was looking at it for resale or wall art. I tried Tinys suggestion and no response and seeing it's a Craigs List item I am not surprised.
