Testing to see if my avatar was added. Red arrows are OK but a tutorial might also help for those of us with little or no native american blood. (or computer savvy)

The home header bar tabs in blue change to yellow when the cursor (arrow) is over them. Go to the forums tab and click on it and the forums header bar will appear below If you then select the MY Profile bar the screen  should change with your info shown , A faded bar just below your profile will have an icon far to the right and if the cursor is placed over it the edit option will appear. Yes the icon is small and the only thing on the bar line so no idea why it is far to the right. Hope this helps. I can say that this is one of the very few changeovers I have seen where there  is instant access and no offline time.

You need at least 1 post (maybe more) to be able to edit profile.

I see the bar but there isn't any button(s) on it.

Keep in mind this is new to all of us so there will likely be some hunting to find answers. With that in mind look at the top right of the page where your name is. Hover the pointer over your name and Edit Profile will be an option. #2: To the left of any of your posts is your name. There is a down arrow below your name. Click the Down arrow. The left icon that appears will also take you to your profile. I don't know if #2 will allow you to edit your profile but it should. Bear with us on this journey. We'll get there.

Takes me to my profile page but there isn't any options for display name or avatar, etc.  Would this be due to being shown as a new member?  Also, my name doesn't appear at the top right of the page.  I'm not in any hurry.  Thanks!

No there is nothing there.  Maybe due to not using AI? That is a bar extension for Edge correct?  Nothing like it on the forum page, either.

The icon button for edit account has now appeared in the profile page.

I have this same problem.  There is no icon or anyway to edit display name or avatar.  Guess I'll wait some more.

Click the down arrow below your name on the left. You should see a gear icon. Click that.

I can get to my profile, but there's no icon or any way to edit anything.

All I have is this message: You should have minimum number of approved posts to be able edit your profile information

Hi John

As Tiny said... click on the "gear" icon.  That's the second icon in the row.

You don't want to go to your "profile", you want to go to your "ACCOUNT" to edit things.
