So what happened to my avatar? The one I used for the old forum was the one originally on picture trail and no longer exists there. It still worked on my last post on the old forum. Is there a way to get it here on the new forum?

I found your profile and it has your avatar. Go to your profile on the old site. If you use a PC right click on the avatar image. Select Save Image As and save it to your computer. Then access your account on the new site and upload that image to your account as your avatar.

That is most likely the issue. You're at three now. Make one more and see if that unlocks your permissions. If it has to be manually approved it may take a while for one of us to see it and approve it. If it's automatically approved you might be able to edit your account right away.
