is it possible for non-members to have a login and posting privileges on this forum as with the former?
Thanks!
Yes. There are still some bugs being worked out but club membership is not required to post to the forum.

I don't understand the question. You're posting so you have access to post to the forum. I admittedly don't understand the Anonymous thing. I didn't know that was possible. Are you not able to establish a user name?

Hi Tiny
Something really weird is going on here.
"Anonymous" shows as joining 1 second ago, and shows 0 posts.
Neither of those things can possibly be true.

@ole-olson The lack of a post count likely has to do with the status of being anonymous. There's no entity to credit the post to.

At least here in the Forum and Website Usage Questions sub-forum, there are boxes at the bottom of the page where you can enter an author name, email, title, and message. This is the method for the non-member message. Not an option in the other sub-forums though.
At the old VCCAchat site, non-members could have a login, password, and posting privileges. The easiest answer is for non-members to join at $25 per year.
I think the other bit hurting the traffic on this new site is not everyone who regularly posted has migrated over (Mr. Gene Schneider, for example).
