I think I must be going crazy. Based on how I am logging in and connecting to the "new" forum, it appears that none of the 20+ years of content transferred to the new site.

Basically, Yes. We are starting over. Unfortunately but it had to be done.
The old forum software is antiquated and insecure and will eventually break. But for now, it still exists at vccachat.org.
