I do not have any social networks specified in my forum profile. And yet, under my username on my posts is (@rustoholic). See the attached screen capture.

 

How do I get rid of @rustoholic?  Is this a system generated thing we have to live with?

I notice it has a "mandatory" asterisk next to it so I guess leaving it blank isn't an option. You might change it to "sexiest man in town". 😀
