VCCA Anniversary Meet – Registration

Please read ALL the information below before proceeding with the registration.
Dates: Sunday, July 12 – Friday, July 17
We’re excited for you to join us! Please review the schedule to make the most of the planned events. We also encourage you to find some free time to explore Rapid City and enjoy the area.
🛎️ Key Arrival & Departure Information
Meet Duration: The event officially runs from Check-in on Sunday, July 12, to Check-out on Friday, July 17.
Registration will be open at 1 with trailer parking prior to arriving at hotel.
Hotel Reservations: Please ensure your hotel bookings align with your attendance plans.
Check-in Time: Hotel check-in is typically at 4:00 PM.
Tip: Arriving a day early on Saturday, July 11, allows you to take full advantage of the events starting Sunday.
Pre-Meet Event: The 4-cylinder tour is being held in Spearfish during the four days immediately preceding the Anniversary Meet.

- Host Hotel: (sold out, taking names) The Best Western Ramkota & Conference Center, Rapid City, SD. 605-343-8550. $161/night. Upgraded rooms available.
- Alternate Hotel: Holiday Inn Express, Rapid City, SD. 605-355-9090. King $170/night King. $159/night 2 Queen. Block Name: 2026 Vintage Chevrolet of America Block
Important Registration & Vehicle Rules
Early Bird Discount: Ends May 29. Prices will increase afterward.
Fees: A mandatory $92 fee covers all registrations (with or without a vehicle), including VCCA member, 2 adults in household, and children/grandchildren under 19. Non-VCCA guests must register separately and pay an additional fee.
Pre-registration is required for all events.
Post-May 29 Policy: No refunds or vehicle substitutions are guaranteed after May 29. Contact anniversary@vcca.org for possible exceptions.
Mandatory Fire Extinguisher – UL Approved: Required for ALL vehicles being evaluated, displayed, or taken on tour.
Check-In: All registered Chevys/GMCs must go through the Field Entrance Check and Photos. PCC, Display, and Touring vehicles will be checked only for the fire extinguisher.
Judging Field Time: All evaluation/display vehicles must be driven onto the Judging Field by 10:00 AM on Tuesday, July 14, and cannot leave until officially released.

🍽️ Meal Options (Purchase in Registration)
🥞 Morning Buffet (Tue, Wed, and Thu)
Why Sign Up? Save time! Avoid waiting to be seated and served in the main restaurant. Perfect for a quick, substantial start before heading to the judging field or touring.
Details: Available only if enough interest is indicated on the registration form.
Time: Breakfast begins 6:30 am. prior to tours
Cost: Approximately the same as the restaurant buffet.
Action: Please select the days you wish to participate on the Registration Form.
🥪 Box Lunches (Wed and Thu Tours)
Why Sign Up? Eating places on the tours (Mount Rushmore concessions, Custer, Keystone) are limited and can be time-consuming during peak season.
Details: Box Lunches (including sandwich, chips, water, cookie, and fruit) can be picked up at the hotel before you leave. Bring a cooler for your car! There are many scenic places to park and eat along the tour routes.
Note: If you select the Deadwood tour on Thursday, there are generally more sit-down eating sites available; however box lunches may be ordered.

🚗 Travel & Sightseeing Suggestions
Consider these routes and stops if traveling to Rapid City:
Arriving from the East: Plan a stop in Mitchell, Sioux Falls, or Murdo to visit sites along the way, including a scenic drive through the Badlands.
Arriving from the West: Explore areas like Custer or Spearfish.
🛠️ Additional Activities & Planning
Side Trips: We are planning optional side trips, such as a visit to a local salvage yard or area vehicle collections.
Final Planning: As we get closer and finalize attendance numbers, more details will be announced.
