Chevrolet

This 1923 Chevrolet Superior Series B Four-Door Sedan. Powered by a 171-cu-in inline-4, producing 26 horsepower and paired with a three-speed manual transmission (with electric start).

I purchased it in the summer of 2025  from The Nethercutt Collection, this example was restored to jewel-like condition in 2000 and showcases period charm with details like nickel-plated trim, drum headlights, a dog-bone Motometer, and artillery wood wheels. It was purchased from Kenneth L. Buzzard , Long Beach, California in 1998 and restord by the Nethercutts as an identical match to J.B. Nethercutt’s first car he bought as a teenager in exchange for a .22-caliber rifle and $12—making it a rolling tribute to his early days and his lifelong love story with his wife of 50 years, Dorothy. The car was on static display for more than 20 years at the familys museum in Sylmar California.
