In 2025 I purchase this truck. I am the 3rd owner. The truck had only 14,700 original miles, fully restored to original, 3600, 216 Thrift Master, 4-speed, 1953 Chevrolet color of Burgundy/Maroon.
Original owner only used the truck on his remote ranch.
Automobile Customizer, Curtis McLachlan, found the truck, purchased it, and because the truck was whole, decided to restore it to original condition. He did a frame-off restoration using all the original parts, even the 3600, 3/4 ton drive-train with the 216 engine and a 4.57 rear end. The truck drives strong and slow.
My history: At 4 years old, this Advanced Design Chevrolet truck was the first truck I ever got close to and touched. Ever since then, I am drawn to them every time I see them in shows or on the street. This truck was for sale in the In-liner’s Club newsletter. Now I have a little money and got my chance to purchase my piece of childhood dream.
