1931 Independence! Restored, Runs & Drives. Priced to Sell!
NEWLY LOWERED PRICE!
This amazing example of the historic 1931 Chevrolet Independence is a serious head turner!
Restored in the early 2000s, this beauty sports a completely rebuilt engine and transmission. Has had roughly 4,000 miles since restoration. Paint matched to 1931 specs for Chevrolet’s Harvard Crimson Maroon, offered during that time.
Interior is restored/reconditioned with the exception of the front seats which need to eventually be reupholstered. Seat springs are excellent and not tired. Some seat covers would fix the aesthetics until you have them reupholstered.
The car starts every time and purrs like a kitten. Shifts amazingly smooth and easy. Clutch is in great shape as well, no chatter or slips.
Here are two different YouTube links that feature this car. A great ride along video as well as some glamour shots.
Brakes are solid, stops well and can lock up all four tires if needed. All lights work as they are supposed to. Tail light is factory housing but internally features all LEDs, making the tail and brake light SUPER bright. All six tires are new. The spares have never been on the ground and the four that are only have about 300 miles on them.
Gauges all work, although the gas gauge is not completely accurate.
This car is a serious head turner no matter where you go. She’s never let me down and is a very solid, working car.
I’m throwing in a tone of tune up parts, manuals and some spare goodies as well. 👍
Please note, the fancier radiator cap seen in a couple of the photos is no longer on the car. She now has just a standard cap.
Car is located in Portland, OR. Car can be shipped at buyers expense. Contact me if you would like more photos, it only lets me post five photos on here.
