Looking for 49-54 convertible clutch adjusting rod. Chevrolet part number 3688194. Group number 0.787. Description; Fork offset (dev. length 7 1/8). This is the adjusting link that attaches to the clutch fork, and has threads on one end, with provisions for return springs on the other. Chevrolet parts manuals show it to be the same for all manual shift convertibles from 49-54. It differs from closed body styles as it is longer to clear the convertible X frame components. Does anyone know of a salvage yard that possibly has the remnants of a convertible? Or possibly someone who has modified their convertible, that no longer needs or uses the factory pieces? Any help or information concerning this part would be greatly appreciated. Thanks SJ
