I bought this 1957 Chevy 4 door sedan in AZ in 1993 as a failed project with fresh paint, but disassembled and not running. It had a late 1960’s 327 and a powerglide in it, that eventually blew a head gasket and l put a 2004 5.3l and a 700R4 in it and replaced the non functioning original A/C with a vintage air system. Rack and pinion steering– power front disc brakes and a new interior and it is on the road.
