I bought this truck on eBay in about 2008. It had been a Kansas farm truck and had the remains of a 12 foot farm dump body. I wanted a short wheel base truck so I cut 26 inches out of the frame to  change from 157 inch wheel base to 131 inches. This made it the same as if it was originally built as a short w.b. truck (Series RB). I

I shortened it so I could install a fifth wheel to pull my Fruehauf, 20 ft. flatbed semi trailer. I found the 9 ft. platform bed for sale in G and D. It is a REAL CHEVROLET bed, as would have been installed at the factory in 1936.
