Does anyone know what the exact differences are between a 1937 car (GA/GB) radiator and a 1/2-ton truck (GC) radiator?

I had found a truck radiator for my panel truck project but it needs to be recored. I have at least one 1937 car radiator that I won't need, so was curious if the differences were in the tanks and mounting brackets and if the actual "core" itself would be of similar size.

Thanks for the help.

29-50 book lists the following:

Group 1.219

1937 All Pass .... 3108266
1037 GD. GE, S (hvy. duty) (3" Core) .... 3108154

The GD is 3/4 ton
The GE is 1 ton

There is no mention of radiator for GC, i.e., 1/2 ton. Accordingly, one would think that the 3108266 would fit, and have sufficient capacity, for the 1/2 ton.
Good luck,

Thanks for the reply. From all that I have heard and seen, a 1937 passenger car radiator will not work in a 1937 truck. Both the 1941 and 1954 master parts books list different numbers for passenger (GA/GB) and commercial (GC/GD/GE/S). I'm not sure why GC wouldn't be in your 1950 parts book.

I'm just wondering if the core itself, without tanks and side mounting brackets, is similar between car and truck.
Thanks.
