On Nov 21, 2001 I began to code the Chat site. I began with a product called "Classic Infopop".... it doesn't exist anymore.
We went live on 12/16/2001.

Another year older!!! Chat officially opened to the public for use on December 16, 2001. We've come a long ways since then.
Thanks to everyone who has made this feature a success. I was very reluctant to start the site because I didn't think enough people would bother to use it. Now that we've had over 8,200 people register, my fears were obviously unfounded.
Hopefully you'll be reading this message once a year, for many more years to come!! Enjoy!
