Can someone tell me just how the accessory Town and Country (mid 30's) mount? Thank you.

The '38 and '39 T & C horns are mounted on a flat bar that is clamped on the rods that go from the radiator to the firewall. They are on the passenger side. I can send you some pictures of the horns and mounting arrangement (not in the car) if you want. I see your email address is in your profile so just let me know. Beamer

The dual horns mounted (clamped) unto the head lamp support horizontal bracket in 1934 (all) and 1935 Standards. They were the long chrome trumpet horns.
The 1935 Master and all 1936-39 horns mounted to the firewall to radiator core support rods under the hood.
The 1935 Master and 1936 horns were the same and the wide bar going from rod to rod had a cut out to help it to clear the air cleaner.
The cross bar was more narrow in 1937-39.The horns are slightly different each year -for 1937-38 and 39.
Are you intrested in a certain year?

My car is a '34. Seems like the horns take up too much space under the hood so maybe I wont use them. I'm guessing the flat bar is clamped using some kind of u-bolt at each rod; is this right?

The flat bar from rod to rod is right---but that style accessory dual horn is not correct for 1934.The exterior under head lamp mounted horns are correct.

Were the town and country horns under the hood on a 36 chrome also? or were they something different.

OK, NUT. I didn't know when they were available in the dual horn configuration. They sure do sound good though, I may strap them in in the future, even though they would not be correct.
