Hi. Ive just purchased a 1939 GMC 1/2 T truck and boy do I have alot of questions. I can't seem to find a shop manual so I purchased a chevy manual. The chevy manual doesn't seem to cover the gmc. Where do I get a manual? What's the difference between the chevy and the gmc trucks? Can you tell me the fuel tank capacity? The truck has been converted to 12V and the fuel gauge bumps when the ignition is turned on but stays on empty. Any fix? The hood hinges are broken on both ends of the hood. I can't find hinges anywhere. Is there a fix or a place where hinges can be purchased? I could go on and on about this new truck. It's beautiful.

You will find that the Chevrolet manual will cover most areas except for the engine.
