rwyant Grease Monkey Registered: 04/20/06 Posts: 2 Loc: WV	My 216 ci motor is a light blue color (from a repro parts vendor). I just returned form a car show and saw a 216 motor that was painted gray (battleship?). On the Stovebolt site there are those who say gray is correct and some who say blue to gray is correct. Chev Nut Registered: 01/08/02 Posts: 14901 Loc: West Allis,Wi.	Also the correct paint will be a dark blue-gray color. This color was used on all Chevrolet engines from 1929 thru 1952. Also used on 1953 cars with stick shift and all 216 and 235 truck engines thru 1962. _________________________ Chevgene
