31chevy Shade Tree Mechanic Registered: 06/05/03 Posts: 61 Loc: Nashville, TN	Ok ...I listened to the JunkYardDog and became a believer in galvanizing my rusted 1931 gas tank but I've called 10 places and looked in Hemmings and can't find anyone that will do it. Most say that they are afraid that the tank will blow up when they dip it in the hot dip galvanizing tank. Does anyone know a galvanizer that I can get a quote? All my internet searches pull up the Gas Tank Renu process ...has anyone done that. Thanks Chevy friends.

I was talking to him the other day and apparently he knows of a place that does galvanize gas tanks. He can probably give you the address.
