I have a few old GM parts that I can't ID the year. They have part numbers but when I do a part number search at GM the number is invalid (old, obsolete etc.). Is there a website that recognizes old part numbers? Thanks.
I also have a lot of NOS gas caps and radiator caps made by GATES; is there a source of information on cross referencing those part numbers to find out what they fit? Thanks.

hw, welcome...post a description of the gm parts & the parts and/or casting numbers and I'll bet the guys here can tell you... as to those caps, not sure if you mean nos, as in genuine gm parts...if they are gates brand, someone here may have an old gates or cross-referencing catalog... epi

OK thanks guys. My error on the Gates product's terminology, sorry. 1. GM Steering wheel cap..........3712990 2. GM Gas Cap....................22525300
That is all for now I think. I have a couple of transmission modulator valves with part numbers, but I think they are for (dirty word?) ****.
Just about everything else is 'aftermarket' brands like Gates.
Thanks again.
