Mark your calendars for this year's annual Junkyard Dog Adventure, which will be held in the Medford/Grants Pass, Oregon area. The tentative dates for the JunkYardDog event will be held on Thursday October 14th, Friday October 15th, and Saturday October 16th. For those that want to hang around an extra day, there will also be several mini-tours planned for Sunday, October 17th. (Note: The backup dates are October 21st, 22nd, 23rd and the 24th)

Currently, there are four dudes working on lining up the many tours to individual private collections, and when everything is completed, flyers will be sent out in the next few months to those fellows that are interested in attending.

Tentatively, the meet hotel will be the Reston Hotel and Convention Center in Medford, Oregon. The daily meeting place for breakfast each morning will be at Mrs. Q's Restaurant in Medford. ( check out this link: http://www.mrsq.com/ ) Also, the local region of the CHVA will supply the cars for the three day tour to chauffeur those attending this year's event.

More information regarding room rates, the phone number for room reservations and etc. will appear here in the next few months so keep an eye on this forum!

According to my three calendars (two were from Microsoft so I had to check a third), October 18th falls on a Monday this year...

I'm betting that you are looking at a November, 2004 calendar which does have a Thursday the 18th, and that you are really shooting for Thursday, October 14th through Sunday, October 17th.

I'll add it to my calendar, but I'll need a better date.
