We are thinking about possibly having another Junkyard Dog Adventure this year in the Medford, Oregon area in mid-August. Looking at sometime around August 18th or 19th thru the 21st.

At this time we have a few tentative places lined up. However, before we go any further with the plans, since it is getting kinda sorta on towards summer, we need an idea of how many dudes would be interested in attending this event. We realize that a lot of guys have already made their plans for the summer tours and etc., so that is why we need a head count on the number of guys that might attend before we carry the plans on any further. If we get enough response, then we will continue on and put things together for either a three day or four day JunkYardDog tour. By the way, the last day of the tour will be a dandy car show high in the mountains of Southern Oregon, and the backdrop of the show will be Lost Creek Lake. No blacktop here......just lots of nice grass and pine trees for the car show and a fantastic view of the lake! This annual event is hosted by CASO, which is a region of the national CHVA, and this car show has been held at the Lost Creek Lake location for over 20 years! Around 300 cars will be attending, not to mention all of the really cool babes running around too!

All of you dudes that attended the JunkYardDog Adventure last year let us hear from you.....and newcomers too! We need a head count in the next week or so to either continue on with the event or postpone it until 2006 if we don't get enough response. Don't know how you managed to do it but you picked a weekend that we will be in town. Count two puppies from up north.

I will get things rolling in earnest now. Work has prevented me getting far in this regard but that has to change now. Could you gather accomodation information for the area and forward it on, if u require postal info let me know.

Hi Ya Tony! As soon as we get a basic idea as to how many are coming then we will work on the motel accommodations and etc. I have requested that we get input from everyone regarding the head count within a week, so we can decide at that time to continue on with the event, or postpone it until next year. If we do get enough interest, then we will get the motel accommodations all set, and then I will post a flyer here with all of the pertinent information, including a list of tours, the motel and etc.

Since we have moved up the annual Junkyard Dog Adventure to August so that we can work it around this great car show on Sunday, that only gives us about three and a half months until the tour. Therefore, since many dudes have already made plans for their summer activities we need a head count to see if a JunkYardDog Adventure is feasible for this year.

By the way, I also have Steve Kassis of the Filling Station working on passing the word to see how many guys from his area will be interested in attending as well. So, stay tuned for more updates.

Skippy, You can count on Bill and Joe being there. I'll let you know ahead of time if I'll be driving the 54 or the 42 instead of the 96SS. That way you'll be able to bring a couple of extra pair of underwear to use when it starts right up every time! (Got 'cha!)

Okay Billy Boy Bobble........I have both you and Joe down for the tour. Looking forward to seeing you guys again this year. By the way, bring one of those stupid 413-A batteries with you for show and tell. We all need a good laugh, because none of the guys know anyone who would buy one of those useless things! UPDATE: At present we have around 22 dudes tentatively signed up for the annual JunkYardDog Adventure in August. We are currently working on the flyer and the registration form. As soon as they are completed (hopefully in the next week or so) they will be posted here so that you can download the registration form to fill it out. Then, you can send the form via snail mail to the address provided on the form. There is no charge to register since everything is free. However, there will be a $5 charge for the special luncheon on Saturday that must be prepaid in advance. More info. later.
